Oh, how we love taking military clothing and turning it into fashion. Army jackets, camouflage print... And of course, combat boots - the ultimate edgy shoe.
For me, personally, combat boots make everything look one hundred times cooler. As a 90's fashion lover, I can't help but imagine myself struttin' these around town. Or being in a band and wearing them at my gigs - I'll take either.
In recent times, we've seen the likes of Kaia Gerber and Hailey Bieber wearing combat boots. And I can see why - they're flattering on your leg even if they have no heel. Their comfortably chunky platforms offer not only good grip but flatter your ankle area and 'toughen' up any look (if you want them to). Trust me, I get taken more seriously when I wear combat boots. Except if I put them over denim and they scrunch up. Don't ever do that.
While daunting for some, I'm here to show you that combat boots are actually extremely versatile and go with pretty much anything. Whether you want to combine them with a flowery dress, leather skirt, or go all out 90's grunge with some denim and flannel, I'm going to run you through some of my favorite ALOHAS combat boot outfits so you won't be short for wear this season. Plus - as the name suggests - they're perfect for combating the cold (ha!).
